I know somone who runs their whole business out of a self storage unit and the facility now provide fulfillment and delivery services for the business so no huge storage overheads and the business is positively thriving.
There is not a week that goes by that I do not count my blessings that I finally took the plunge and started my own online business. Did I face challenges along the way? Absolutely! Did I smash my head against the wall trying to figure out the “secret online formula?” You bet I did (I still have the scars to prove it)!
However, eventually the fruits of my labor finally started to pay off! I get to work from home, take my son to kindergarten, go on field trips with my daughters pre-school and be a wonderful husband to my wife. This is exactly what your own small, successful business can do for you. But you do need a good basic business plan and that includes a good blog; a business can't survive and thrive without one. Don't worry too much about what you will write just get writing. You can make it a chatty blog or a more serious news and opinion blog such as Project Accelerator News; the main thing is to generate content as often as possible. I like to say daily content but, in reality, for a busy business that can be hard to achieve initially so start with weekly blogs.

There has been a paradigm shift in the industry and the individuals that embrace and use the internet are the ones that are going to come out on top! This simple philosophy is what the major companies use to explode their businesses.
